June snippets & taking a short summer break...

Updated: Jul 8, 2023

The month of June has been a whirlwind in the best way possible. It's been a joy from beginning to end and I feel very privileged and grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with such incredible people. Gents who's taken me out on amazing experiences and trips, most of things I probably never would have the opportunity to do if not for them. Below I'm sharing some snippets from my dates and travels from June!

I've decided to take a short break to recharge my batteries so I can come back fresh as a daisy! I will be back for dating on the 15th of July. As always I'm based in Barcelona but passport ready to travel for you and our date! Not open for travel to North America but anywhere else in the world. I love a man who can plan ahead so don't be afraid to get in touch with me now for dating after my little break.

June started off with Formula 1! My first ever F1 race and it really lived up to my expectations... This sparked my interest for Formula 1 even more and I have now started watching F1 - Drive to Survive on Netflix. I also saw they will have a race in Singapore on September 17th... Singapore is on the top of my list of places I'd like to visit and to combine that with a race would be the ultimate dream!

I dedicated a whole blog post about Costa Rica but here are some photos I never included!

I did already include this video but it's just too good not to share again... Enjoy xx

I came to my beloved Sweden a day before meeting the sweet gent who flew me over. Even though I'm not from Stockholm myself I still feel very at home in this city. It's a refreshing city with an intoxicating aura and I really enjoy being here. And yes... this is how much packing I bring for a 30 hour date!! I like to have options..

My first meal in Stockholm? Our traditional Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, cucumber and lingonberry with brown sauce! I could eat this all day every day...

No explanation needed just a sexy photo of me after showering...

Midsummer date

Our date started off with me being spoiled with two amazing gifts... I had put in May's newsletter a few things I would really like to own myself, and he was generous enough to gift me one of them!! Look at these beautiful Hermés shoes... I absolutely adore the colour as well.

Adam & Allbin

We spent our first evening together at one star Michelin restaurant called Adam & Albin. We were both stunned by the whole experience not only by the excellent cuisine itself but also by the waiters and chefs who were incredibly nice and friendly. The prejudice of Swedes or Scandinavians in general being cold and stand off-ish are immediately crushed when visiting this restaurant. Adam & Albin has their origin from the Nordic cuisine but we could see a lot of Japanese and also some Spanish influences. An exquisite combination if you ask me.

I didn't take photos of all the food that was served to us but the dinner experience began with five so called ''snack plates'' following a nine course meal. We also decided to try out the wine menu giving us a glass to each dish.

Don't remember what fish this was but I remember it was delicious, fish always works in my world! And I absolutely love scallops, one of my favourite sea food dishes. These were two of the snack plates.

And caviar never disappoints...

Wagyu beef! Here we can see the Japanese influencers. And another fish dish, this was one of the snack plates. Absolutely yummy.

I'm usually not a huge fan of lamb but this went right down my belly!

Sorbet with wasabi, an interesting flavour combination that worked perfectly.

At this point the wine had gotten straight to my head so I'm not sure what it was exactly but I do know this is top 3 best desserts I've had in my life.

Our beloved Scandinavian liquor/vodka! We call it Snaps in Sweden and this particular brand, O.P. Andersson, is the most iconic Aquavit you will ever lay your eyes to. Even though I'm not a big drinker there is no way you can celebrate Midsummer without Snaps! We always drink this during Midsummer but it's also very popular on Christmas.

The day of Midsummer

Starting with some breakfast...

After breakfast we were headed to Skansen, a park in Stockholm that is well-known for its Midsummer celebrations amongst other things. A beautiful park with some Swedish history, restaurants and cafés, and events happening mostly during summer.

I really wanted my date and I to dance around the maypole which is one of our most cherished traditions on Midsummer. I haven't done this since I was a kid! But I remembered the frog dance like I've been doing it routinely for years..

A tranquil lunch with some meatballs and mashed potatoes and a cinnamon bun for desert. I swept the whole meal in just a few bites, I'm a big foodie at heart! I wanted us to have lunch at a restaurant not located at Skansen were they serve traditional midsummer food such as herring but let's just say I should not have been in control for that... I was too slow and all tables were booked! But honestly this was so tasty so I wasn't complaining.

After some dancing and eating we went to Grand Hotel were this very considerate gent has booked us a spa suite! He knows I love a good spa, relaxing in a hot tub, trying different saunas and just enjoy each other's company... I really appreciated this and I think it was a great way to end our precious date.

My beloved London! I've been to London twice this year and both times were an absolute pleasure. The London gents always shows me a great time and are amazing company. I'm coming back in August! Subscribe to my newsletter to find out when, I will also make a blog post about it very soon to keep you all updated.

Having never been to Nobu before which is a place on my list of restaurants to try out I was delighted when my lunch date suggested it! I never say no to some Japanese food.

Garlic shrimps, yellowtail fish and salmon tacos! Never tried yellowtail before which is now added to my list of favourite fish.

Was too in the moment to snap the classic lingerie mirror photo in the hotels bathroom after lunch, good thing I took one when I was out shopping afterwards;)

OXO Tower House Restaurant

A tuna tartare always works out in my favour... Main: beef (I think) with some delicious mushrooms and mashed potatoes. My date had an exquisite fish that I don't remember the name of (not salmon although it looks like it). And a truffle Mac n cheese, never had Mac n cheese to begin with so when I saw it on the menu with truffle I just couldn't resist!

Daphne at Daphne's - My last evening in London

I spent my last evening in London at Italian restaurant Daphne's with my new friend Sienna Nichols! First time meeting her was during my first London visit in May after interacting and crushing hard on each other on Twitter... I think she's an amazing girl with so much kindness and depth. She is gorgeous, smart and makes me laugh irresistibly. Such an incredible person.

I would loooove to have a duo with Sienna, perhaps for my next London visit? Make us happy and book a duo will ya;)

Until next time!
